For as long as memory allows me to reach, I have felt a deep connection of unspoken communication between horses and humans.  It was not until I read Linda Kohonav's books Riding Between the Worlds  and The Tao Of Equus that I realized I was not alone in this knowing and that there is scientific evidence supporting this communication connection.

As an Epona Approved Instructor, I have studied under the guidance of Linda Kohonav & Kathleen Barry Ingram at the Epona Center located at Apache Springs Ranch near Tucson, Arizona.   The Epona  principles teach how to use horse wisdom to aid in enjoying a more balanced, creative and authentic life.

Adding to the Epona studies, in December 2010, I completed a year long Shamanic apprenticeship program lead by Eve B. Lee [Shaman and Advanced Epona Instructor].  I continue walking the Shamanic Path and remain under Eve's mentorship.

During my professional life, I have worked for large corporations for over twenty years specifically in the Information Technology sector.  I have had the privilege to have been part of highly creative and technical teams as well as leading teams of highly creative and technical individuals

Why Horses?  As a non-predatory beings, horses provide a unique reflection of human emotional states, intuitive capacity and community building social skills. Their wisdom is universal; now more than ever, the non-predatory way of being that horses embody may be essential for human survival.  By applying the lessons taught to us by the horse, people from across the U.S,
Canada and Europe have gained a greater sense of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual balance. Alumni of EPONA's personal development workshops include accomplished artists, actors, musicians, counselors, social workers, psychiatrists, physicians, life coaches, body workers, business executives, teachers, and riding instructors.

I find the growing field of Equine Facilitated Experiencial Learning to be exciting, deeply rewarding and fascinating.  I offer a wide variety of group workshops as well as private sessions.  Find out more information about the workshops by clicking on the Workshop Schedule page, or call me at 314.791.2139.
